“YOUNG LEARNERS” FROM SOUTH CENTRAL AND CENTRAL HIGHLAND PROVINCES CONFIDENTLY CONQUER CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT ENGLISH

Held at Chu Van An High School (No. 249 Phan Boi Chau, Thong Nhat, Buon Ma Thuot City), the exam was participated with nearly 300 candidates from 6 provinces, including Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Dak Lak. At the exam, candidates are challenged with 4 skills of Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing in 3 different levels: Movers and Flyers are for elementary students of grades 3,4,5 and A2 Key for schools for Secondary students of grades 6,7,8.

Ms. Vu Thi Lan Huong - Head of Organizing Committee of the Cambridge Buon Ma Thuot shared: “Cambridge Achievers 2020 is a long-term exam (with many rounds) to broaden the prestigious international competency test at Vietnam. Cooperating with schools is the first step to help Ocean Edu, Ocean Edu's training programs come closer to thousands of Vietnamese students, and also help students to test their language proficiency at a prestigious and valuable English language assessment that is recognized worldwide for English learners aged 9-14 years old”.

A large number of candidates from 6 provinces of the South Central and the Central Highlands participated in the exam early in the morning.

Choosing the Cambridge exam allows students to improve and accurately assess their English proficiency in a prestigious international certification exam. The exams are designed following age psychology, helping to create motivation and excitement for children in learning English.

Vo Hoang Duy Anh, a candidate from Ocean Edu Buon Ma Thuot, said: “Taking the Cambridge exam with A2 Key for schools, I am confident because before taking the exam, the teachers at Ocean Edu Buon Ma Thuot did practice exam format for me and all those knowledge has helped me a lot to complete my exams today”.

At 8:00 am on October 25, 2020, nearly 300 children officially entered the Cambridge Assessment English exam in Buon Ma Thuot City.

“With the Cambridge Assessment English, you will be challenged with 4 separate tests: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. In each section, I am tested with different questions and topics. More specifically, in the Speaking test, I was tested directly with a foreign teacher and I find this Cambridge exam really interesting", said Nguyen Thi Tra My - Ocean Edu Tuy Hoa.
