Parents are the first English "teachers"
Vu Lan Anh revealed that she started learning English at 6 years old. At that time, parents were the first "teachers”, instructing her to speak each letter, sing English songs, and just like that, she was unconsciously fond of English.
After that, her parents let Lan Anh learn English at Ocean Edu Yen Bai English Language Center. At Ocean Edu, she is able to participate in an international standard English environment with 100% foreign teachers. The lessons combined with exhilarating games and the discoverable experiences bring her into an engaging English world. The thing she likes most at Ocean Edu is that besides practising listening, speaking, reading and writing English, students improve themselves more and more by constantly being trained in various skills such as presentation skills, logical thinking, critical thinking and teamwork… This is one of the best English learning environments in Yen Bai and so far, Vu Lan Anh has had a long journey with foreign teachers at the centre.
Journey to become a global citizen
Vu Lan Anh always feels fortunate to have been exposed to English early. However, during the learning process, the student of Ocean Edu Yen Bai 2 also encountered lots of difficulties not to mention confusing stress or lacking vocabulary when communicating and writing essays. To overcome this, Lan Anh spends time reading English books, watching English movies and listening to English songs to accumulate vocabulary. Besides, she tries to master the grammar structures that the teacher gives in the class, write different topics and send them to foreign teachers for suggestions and corrections.
Passionate and relentless efforts, so far the sweet fruit that Vu Lan Anh - student of Ocean Edu Yen Bai 2 earned is a lot of awards in English such as First Prize City-level English Contest for excellent students 2020 and First Prize Provincial Internet Olympiads of English 2017. The next goal that this little girl is cherishing to achieve is to conquer the English language, confidently interact with international friends and become a global citizen to study and work in any environment.
