The World Education Forum is an annual activity organized with the desire to connect educational institutions and investors, sharing investment and cooperation opportunities. There was Minister of Education and Training - Mr. Phung Xuan Nha, Mr. The Honorable Rt Hon Edward Vaizey MP - Special envoy of the British Prime Minister, Mr. Tran Ngoc An - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom and Ireland, along with nearly 230 representatives from universities, enterprises and educational institutions of the United Kingdom and Vietnam attending the event. Besides, Vietnam’s Minister of Education and Training also chaired the Vietnam-UK educational investment and cooperation forum.
During the WEF, Ocean Edu Vietnam and a number of partners have exchanged and discussed on cooperating in the education of Vietnam and the United Kingdom, sharing experiences in the actual process in Vietnam latterly. Besides, Ocean Edu also expressed the desire to cooperate to bring benefits to both alliances in the forthcoming time, contributing to promoting Vietnam’s educational innovation. Joining this event, Ocean Edu Vietnam is willing to cooperate with modern educational institutions in the UK with the desire to promote the quality of teaching and training according to international standards, worthily being one of the most prestigious educational institutes in Vietnam and in the world.
As one of the typical enterprises to participate in the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong - Vice Chairman of Ocean Edu Vietnam and Minister Phung Xuan Nha along with the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training had a working visit with the Director of the Department of Education, UK Department of International Trade - Mr. Geoff Gladding. The two parties discussed and cooperated in the field of education including training for educational managers and lecturers, improving university governance capacity, enhancing IT application in university management, and promoting cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries.
In addition, representatives of Ocean Edu Vietnam and the delegation had a meeting with Mr. Ciaran Devane - CEO (CEO) of the British Council and Ms. Alison Barrett - Director of Education and Society, East Asia. At the meeting, the two parties discussed many issues including teaching English, assessing the quality of English training and future activities of the British Council after 2019.
During this business trip, representatives of Ocean Edu also attended the BETT exhibition at the Royal Victoria Dock by the British International Chamber of Commerce (DIT) in cooperation with BETT to connect UK entrepreneurs with potential businesses across the world. At the exhibition, Ocean Edu’s Board of Directors also met up with representatives of AMAZON, shared and exchanged about handy online technology application solutions.
The trip is a remarkable success and it opens a new stage of development for Ocean Edu in 2019. With the goal of broadening knowledge to millions of Vietnamese learners and enhancing Vietnam’s position in the international arena, Ocean Edu will continue to expand partnerships with prestigious educational institutions around the world to bring the best quality learning programs to the community.

Ocean Edu International English System is one of the English training systems in Vietnam authorized by the Cambridge English Assessment that organizes the Cambridge International Examination and Certificate with the code VN048. The Ministry of Education and Training approved for Ocean Edu to arrange the tests at various levels in Vietnam.
