THE STORY ABOUT IELTS 7.0 OF THE HA TINH STUDENT - WHO HAS A PASSION FOR ENGLISH

Nguyen Trong Dat is a student of Class 9.2 at Le Van Thiem Secondary School, Thach Trung Commune, Ha Tinh City, Ha Tinh. Since 5 years old, Dat was exposed to English by his parents. At first, there were still a lot of surprises, but the passions for this new language in Trong Dat was growing up day by day thanks to the enthusiastic support and encouragement of his parents. Before Ocean Edu, Nguyen Trong Dat used to study English at some centres in Ha Tinh as well as self-study at home, but not really effective. These centres have not been able to help him fulfil the dream of conquering IELTS that he has cherished for a long time.

With impressive IELTS test scores: Listening 7.5; Reading 8.0; Writing 5.5; Speaking 6.0, Dat excitedly shared his test preparation tips: “To accomplish high results in the IELTS exam, at first, you need to carefully prepare both in knowledge and psychology, confidence, with special emphasis on listening and writing skills, as these are two relatively difficult exams. In addition to basic knowledge, information related to life matters is also important when writing essays. Therefore, we need to add social understanding to enrich the essay”. 

As with other subjects, Dat's most essential English learning experience is the need to have a passion for that. Besides, you need to concentrate on increasing vocabulary, learning grammar and communicating regularly with teachers and friends, joining English clubs, practising 4 skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing by watching TV programs, Youtube, reading English stories, ...

Before, my speaking skills were not good, but after 1 year studying at the centre, it has improved a lot.
