Nguyen Danh Phuong - Gold Medal Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad

Nguyen Danh Phuong is currently a student at Ocean Edu Nguyen Trai English Center. He has attained a variety of enormous prizes in the city-level, national and international maths contests in English, including:

Truong Dung - Gold Prize National English Contest on the Internet 2020

Recently, Truong Dung - 11-year-old student of Ocean Edu Buon Me Thuot has won the Gold Prize National Olympic English Contest on the Internet. Besides, he attained the First Prize at the Provincial Olympic English Contest on the Internet for many consecutive years. Having studied at Ocean Edu for nearly 3 years, it is an experienced journey, helping Dung develop his language potential and gradually conquer English. 

Sharing the impression of foreign teachers at Ocean Edu, Truong Dung said: “At first I was quite awkward to communicate due to the lack of vocabulary and I was always afraid of making mistakes. Nevertheless, by teachers’ encouragements, I have made efforts to study and regularly discussed with my teachers about what difficulties or problems that I had. With high professional pedagogy and dedication, they have helped me a lot on improving my language proficiency. At the moment, English is no longer a barrier to me, it has become a habit and I am able to use this second language fluently in both study and daily life. I can communicate with any foreigner confidently and openly”.

“My ambition is to speak English fluently in the international environment and have a native-like intonation. I will also try to comprehend all skills in English to pass the IELTS certificate with the highest score. The further goal is to win a full-tuition scholarship in the U.S. I have been always gone to town on learning English to make that dream come true” - The owner of the Gold Prize National Olympic English Contest 2020 shared.
