OCEAN EDU RECOMMENDS PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM COVID-19 - MAINTAINING STUDENTS’ HEALTH IN THE SYSTEM

Accordingly, to protect and ensure the safety of Students and Staff as well as based on the fact of deploying epidemic prevention measures under the guidance of Ministry of Health and relevant departments, Ocean Edu English Language System recommends that parents, students and employees under the system seriously implement as follows:

For Parents, Students:

1. All students in the entire system (except for localities where the epidemic is affected and those who come in contact with and travel from the epidemic area) continue to go to school normally according to the direction of the local authority;

2. Suspension of study for students directly travelling/staying in the Da Nang epidemic area, or having relatives/ families travelling/working in Da Nang from July 10, 2020, until new notification. During the lockdown period, Ocean Edu does not charge the student's tuition fee, students are allowed to study via the LMS learning application.

3. Re-establishing and maintaining Covid-19 epidemic prevention measures throughout the system to ensure the health and safety of students, including wearing masks when coming to the centre, washing hands frequently during the day; Do not send children to class when they have symptoms of cough/fever/shortness of breath/tiredness.

4. Students proactively contact teachers and report epidemiological status; besides contact the nearest health agencies as recommended by the Ministry of Health.

For staff and teachers of Ocean Edu:

1. Report and update your health status, update your travel schedule to ensure safety for individuals and customers.

2. Proactively maintain the epidemic prevention measures in the classroom and self-quarantine if they have been in Danang since July 1, 2020.

3. Do not gather, move to crowded places, limit moving by public transport.

For centres, Ocean Edu strictly applies epidemic prevention regulations including 100% of students, teachers, employees are checked the temperature and wash their hands with antiseptic solution before entering the Center and classroom; Disinfecting material and facilities; fully equipped with antibacterial hand-washing solution, checking body temperature of students, staff, teachers, partners when coming to study and visit the centre. In addition, it is recommended that people should regularly update the Government’s information on the evolution of the pandemic to take initiative to protect ourselves and communities.
