English is currently one of the most widely used languages in the world. In the New General Education curriculum, English is a compulsory subject for students from grades 3 to 12 and an elective subject for students in grades 1 and 2.
After the English classes at school, Pham Duy Anh came to the English Center again to improve his foreign language skills. Communicating directly with foreign teachers plays an important role in his journey to gain scholarships through English contests.
The establishment and development of language centers are indispensable to meet the increasing demands of people. In most districts in the province, there is at least one foreign language center, particularly in Nam Dinh City, where there is a higher demand for foreign language learning, many international language centers are operating.
According to the representatives of the Centers, due to educational training is a business work, directly related to people, if we put profit on top, it will be counterproductive. Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Loan, CEO of Ocean Edu Vietnam expressed: “We always create a professional and friendly environment, close to learners so that they can acquire knowledge well. In fact, learning English at school is often grammatical, while at Language Centers with 100% foreign teachers’ help, students should improve their pronunciation and communication skills, this is essential to self-improve their learning.
Nguyen Tran Anh Thu, Nam Dinh City, shared: "Foreign teachers help me a lot with English knowledge and Vietnamese teachers will re-teach English lesson to help us understand better".
According to the statistics of the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province, there are currently 10 licensed international centers in the province, of which, mostly foreign language centers with censorship rigid. The operation of foreign language centers has been receiving support from many sides, creating favourable conditions for centers to develop stronger and improve their quality in the future.
