EXHILARATING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AT OCEAN EDU

Besides the programs: Discovering the potential of children (Kham pha tiem nang con tre), Steam English, Cooking Day, Try being an artist and Recycling Festival ... also attracted the participation of the children. These diverse activities are conducted regularly to comprehensively develop skills, especially speaking skills, and children will be more confident in communicating, relieve stress after learning hours, regain interest in studies, as well as help them build relationships. In fact, some children always feel shy and anxious when they go to class, some even show signs of depression and hardly play with anyone. Extracurricular activities at Ocean Edu will be a perfect environment for them to gradually become more open, more energetic and confidently interact with their peers.

Try being an artist

Research shows that children exposing to painting in good time will increase their ability to perceive art and nurture imagination. Therefore, the “Try being an artist” activity is regularly organized at Ocean Edu. Only with crayons, children will sketch the colourful world, whereby activate imagination and creativity, expand knowledge and stimulate to develop children’s potential. Especially through each week’s topic, they will come up with new ideas for implementing and presenting in English together to boost up speaking skill, confidence and teamwork.

Recycling Festival

In the context of environmental changing, the "Recycling Festival" is a practical activity to propagate and raise the awareness of the community in general and students in particular about "restrict and reuse plastic waste”. This program contributes to propaganda and education of environmental protection awareness, solving pollution caused by plastic waste. Under the guidance of teachers, children can turn the common plastic waste such as plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic cans,... into useful items by themselves.

Especially within this program, Ocean Edu also helps to establish the habit of saving and using eco-friendly products, minimizing plastic utensils, thereby becoming a propagandist for parents and friends to join hands to build the movement "Say no to plastic bags and plastic garbage" to help keep our earth green - clean - beautiful.

Cooking Show

Participating in this activity, students will explore the diverse culinary world, become master chefs junior, thereby educating their children to be more responsible in helping parents at home, strengthen love and bond among family members. It is also an opportunity for children to show their talent in cooking, presentation skills, teamwork, communication in front of the crowd, and confidently using English to daily life and studies. 

Successfully deployed in June and during the summer days in July, the “Cooking Show” activity will continue at most Ocean Edu branches across the country. Learning and playing along with the high educational value that this program brings will promise to attract more and more students.
