DAK LAK TELEVISION REPORTS ON CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT ENGLISH FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN BUON MA THUOT CITY

In recent years, more and more students take international English certificates to assess their foreign language skills, many Colleges and Universities in the country also use an international English certificate as one of the criteria for admission. One of the international English certificates chosen by many Primary and Secondary students in Cambridge Assessment English.

Nguyen Huyen My - Candidate from Kon Tum province shared: “This exam will assess my English ability throughout the years I learn English and it will help me improve my skills. Taking the exam, I also got chances to interact with lots of friends of the same age to help me improve myself. Moreover, when receiving the Cambridge certificate, it will expand opportunities for me to enter specialized schools and international schools”. 

This is the second time, Ocean Edu International English System organizes an English proficiency exam for students in Dak Lak province. This is an opportunity to help students in the Central region and the Central Highlands get acquainted with international English exams. All Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing tests are sent to the UK and assessed by Cambridge Examiners. Based on the test results, students will be awarded Cambridge international certificates according to levels. Also from this result, parents will easily build a study plan, helping their children to develop their English ability.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa - Ocean Edu Buon Ma Thuot’s Branch Manager shared: “Cambridge certificate is different from other certificates in that the Cambridge certificate does not evaluate the fail or pass, but candidates will be evaluated according to the number of shields they get. Thus, the Cambridge certificate will help children to define what level they are, and thereby have a basis to improve their English proficiency to achieve the desired language level. At the same time, Cambridge is a permanent certificate, and candidates can use it to upline to international schools as well as to use around the world”.

Cambridge currently provides English exams to 5 million people each year in more than 160 countries, recognized by more than 20,000 Universities, Employers, Government ... around the world. The participation in exams provided by Cambridge will help students have better language orientation, practical communication skills, creating a positive influence on teaching and learning, actively supports both parents and students.
