I took up Bachelor of Arts major in English and was an active Editor-in-Chief of the Student Publication which gave me an opportunity to attend various seminars and workshops related to writing news and stories all over the Philippines.

I got my first job as a beat reporter in a local radio station in Negros Occidental and finally decided to go places and worked as an ESL Instructor in Major Developing Language (MDL) at Mabolo, Cebu, the Philippines from July 1, 2013, to April 6, 2016. I enjoyed teaching Asian students and was awarded as the best man to man teacher and best group class teacher in the year 2013. I thought of trying a different path which led me to work in the National government serving artisanal fishermen in the whole Region VII, Visayas area as a Community Organizer or Technical officer IV under the National Anti-Poverty Commission, from January 9, 2017, to April 30 2018.

I guess I enjoyed teaching English so much so I applied and got accepted as a Writing and Reading English Instructor (General/Comprehensive ESL IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL) at Zett A English Academy former University of the Visayas (UV) ESL in Mabolo, Cebu, the Philippines from July 25, 2018- June 14, 2019. I took TESOL certificate while teaching in ZA and later on worked as TESOL Facilitator (part-time) at International Consultants and Managers in Fuente, Cebu, the Philippines on May 2019. A chance for me to develop my skills came when I was hired as an English Instructor at Leadertalks located in Hama Village, Gia Nghĩa Town, Đắk Nông, Vietnam from June 20, 2019- December 30, 2019.
