Jerick Tuvera Castillo is a licensed professional teacher who is committed to student success inside the classroom. He has been an EFL teacher since June 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with Latin honours from Tarlac Agricultural University (2014) and granted with Civil Service Eligibility by the Civil Service Commission pursuant to Presidential Decree 907. He also has a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language) certification and received the “Best Teaching Demonstration” award. He has taught in different grade levels and classroom settings including a multigrade class in the Philippines for four years. He attended various trainings, seminar-workshops and webinars spearheaded by the Department of Education (Philippines), TESOL Coach Master INC., and Ocean Edu Vietnam. He is currently enrolled in another TESOL online course for his professional growth and development. Mr. Castillo believes that a teacher with a heart in his profession strives not just to be an effective teacher but an inspirational one.
