SECRETS BEHIND EXCELLENT ENGLISH OF BAO TRAN

(Interviewer) Hello Bao Tran, I know that you are one of the most excellent students at school and also the owner of many English awards. What helps you to achieve these accomplishments?

(Smile) I was lucky to have the opportunity to approach and get acquainted with English very early. When I was an elementary school pupil, my family has already let me study English with foreign teachers. Compared to my peers, this is an advantage helping me lay a solid English foundation with good intonation, rich vocabulary as well as the confidence and courage in communication.

In August 2018, Ocean Edu Kon Tum English Center opened, I was fortunate to study in an international standard English environment. With the dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism in teaching, the foreign teachers have helped me to further improve my communication skills. Besides, the curriculum is constantly updated whereby every student will have an approach to the latest knowledge bases that appropriate to each student's level and this is the fundament for my English breakthrough later.

(Interviewer) In 2019, you won the Second Prize at School-level English Golden Bell Competition and the Third Prize Provincial English Talent Contest. Is it the “sweet fruit” of your passion and your enormous efforts in English?

Compared to other subjects, English always whips up a special interest in me. I spend time to study with passion. Therefore, when participating in English competitions, I do not consider it a challenge, from my point of view, this is an opportunity for me to parade my knowledge and skills. I am comfortable to join in these playgrounds to cultivate and acquire more academic knowledge from my friends, as well as to find out my weaknesses, thereby having an appropriate method of learning promptly.

(Interviewer) What is the biggest obstacle for English learners and how did you overcome them?

For me as well as every English learner, one of the toughest nuts to crack is is not enough perseverance and efforts when learning, leading to depression. Besides, some teaching methods are not attractive enough for learners. Therefore, find yourself a teacher and an international standard English environment to approach a new teaching style, in addition, concentrate on learning to acquire knowledge in the classroom as well as invariably learning from foreign teachers at Ocean Edu. Last but not least, everyone should study at home on your own initiative by watching TV programs, listening to music, reading stories in English ... to "immerse" yourself in English.

(Interviewer) In addition to receiving good grades at school or competitions, what are your other goals of learning English?

Because English is the language of international communication, my goals of learning English is to expand knowledge, integrate into the world, understand more about the other countries and their culture, confidently interact with international friends. Especially with English, I can control my life in the future.

Having been studying English at Ocean Edu for nearly 2 years, how do the teachers accompany you?

What impressed me at Ocean Edu was the friendliness and enthusiasm of all teachers. They always accompany me in every lesson, competitions, and give me lots of handy tips for doing homework. I am also fond of their youthful and lively teaching style, the diverse teaching methods integrated into each lesson, creating excitement for students.
