Teaching Ielts to Vietnamese Student
Teaching IELTS to Vietnamese students is really not that easy but it is quite challenging for me as a teacher…I think students initially find it hard to get in to the IELTS mindset because it’s a completely different kind of game to the lessons they have had in their country. As a teacher, it’s important that they shake off their misconceptions and embrace the learning of IELTS with a new attitude. A lot of students don’t understand exactly the reason behind taking the course and have these negative thoughts over acquiring the score they needed. Most of the students aimed to acquire the score they needed rather than enjoying and loving what they learn. As a teacher, we have to motivate students that IELTS learning is not only about acquiring the band width they needed but it is also about improving their potentials and skills in English language learning.
Here at Ocean, we promise that students will reach their English literacy goals; ensuring a better career, education and LIFE. We inspire learners to “turn on their potential”.
meet Bob, my IELTS student…..
A great teacher is someone who can form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people. A great teacher is warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. They demonstrate a commitment to the career they have chosen, to the school and most especially to their learners.
